I have the great honor and privilege of having co-edited and contributed to this amazing anthology.

With over 40+ contributors from a wide variety of magical and cultural backgrounds and practices, the anthology consists of personal stories, poetry, comics, artwork, academic essays, interviews with community elders, and so much queerness!

My essay for this anthology is titled “Embodying the Phoenix: The Transformation of Queer Erotic Alchemy” and explores the phoenix as a symbol for queer transformation.

I’m proud to have been published in the second volume in the Numen Naturae anthology series, Numen Naturae: Dismantling the Tower!

The volumes in this anthology series each relate to a tarot card and plant, exploring their mythological, archetypal, and practical applications and connections. This volume in particular relates to the Tower card and Devil’s Club.

My essay is about the relationship between the Phoenix and the Tower in the process of transformation titled “Destruction in the Name of Healing and Transformation.”

Sadly, this anthology is out of print. You can find it on GoodReads and Biblio

It is an honor to have a piece in this anthology alongside so many big names in the world of sex positivity. The various essays, stories, and poetry in this book explore sex positivity from many different angles, identities, sexualities, genders, and abilities.

My essay “Power, Pleasure, and Justice: Toward a Trans-Inclusive and Anti-Oppressive Sex Positivity” explores the necessity of justice within sex positivity and is, in many ways, a call for pleasure activism.
